Oleksandr Soloviov

Curator, art critic
Oleksandr Soloviov was born in Volgograd, Russia. Soloviov is a senior researcher at the Modern Art Research Institute, had been a curator at the Victor Pinchuk Foundation Contemporary art in Ukraine, at the PinchukArtCentre. In 2010–2013 Soloviov had been a deputy director general and chief curator at the National Cultural-Art and Museum Complex "Mystetskyi Arsenal". Soloviov curated several Ukrainian participations at the Venice Diennale.

He is an author of over 100 published research works on contemporary visual art. Since 1999 Soloviov has been a regular contributor to Flash Art magazine, Milan, Italy. Currently lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine.
